How will you support your medical colleagues and the wider multi-disciplinary team to alleviate pressure in the workplace?

Doctors need to provide motivational mentoring that is supportive and enabling. In addition there is a need to build the capacity of the multi-professional team and one of the ways to do this is to identify how the key workforce changes over the past decade has influenced the development of the assistant workforce roles within the multi-disciplinary team.

  1. Identify the source of pressure, stress and burnout for doctors
  2. Explore the workforce changes that are driving new health workforce roles
  3. Identify gaps in the medical workforce and identify new roles to build capacity in the health assistant workforce
